COOL PATROL

The Cool Patrol consists of a group of people that have been friends (and at times enemies) for many long years. The name was originally used as a knock against a certain sect of the group that were deemed UNCOOL to hang with at the time. Many individuals have been credited with the creation of the name including, Al Tillis, Tom, Dave, and MD. As time passed the negative connotation that name had disappeared and it became a name that each member was proud of to some extent. The CP has 14-16 (Depending on who you ask) Core or Pure members, and a few members that are considered by some to be secondary. Most of the secondary labeled members were late additions to the CP and overtime became part of the core, an example of this would be Sean. The CP has never had an elected leader in its long history, although attempts to elect one have been attempted. The most famous try was at MD house one night where it was decided that we would have a secret ballot and the person to receive the most votes from all Core members that were present would be called LEADER of the CP. I truly do not recall everyone who was at MD's at the time, and who voted for whom but it turned out a tie on a number of tries. A leader was never picked that night, or ever for that matter. But for some reason Chris became the LEADER in name only during 12th grade, mostly due to his outspoken views against the COOL WORLD. He lobbied against the Mike, Bill, and Dan yearbook page, and pushed Mr. Gallagher into putting the CP prom table away from everyone else in the grade. The CP lived on into the post high school years with most members moving on to college, and the work force. The CP lost one of its toughest and funniest members in 1997 when Murph was killed in a Motorcycle accident, he will always be remembered as a great and loyal friend. Today the CP is alive and well, with its members spread out across the country. I believe the CP will live on forever, even if it is only in the stories and memories its members have created.

Bio: AB is known for his quick wit and a knack for making people laugh. He is comparable to John Candy in stature and comedic skill. AB can single handily keep a party going with his jokes and stories. But sadly over the last few years, his appearances have been becoming less.

Current Whereabouts: The Island
Bio: Bob is known for his strong beliefs when it comes to Religion, and Gaming. He is the co-writer of the Gaming Terms list on this site. He is into Starwars, Lord of the Rings, MMORPGs and most console gaming platforms. Bob was the head of the now disbanded group known only as Bobby's World. This group had sporadic CP interactions over the years, but there were some crossover personalities like a Kamoose.

Description: average height, medium build, has gone fat and back many times
Current Whereabouts: Illinos/Peru
Bio: CD has been part of the CP from the very beginning. He was had long standing friendships with most CP members. Chris championed the fight against the Cool World during the early 90's. CD is an avid Gamer, movie buff and Cage Fighter.

Bio: Dan is into The Doors, Guitars, Comics, and Crime Fighting. He is forever linked to his Camaro, Black and Scratchy. Dan almost died along with the Grek, during there Jimmy Hendrix Experience.

Current Whereabouts: The Island
Bio: Dave was linked to the CP through his neighbor and good friend Murph. Dave was one of the first CP associates to have a car which made him sort after for rides and friendship. Over time Dave became part of the CP, something I don't think he was happy about or asked for. But over the years Dave has stood the test of time and is still an active member of the CP.

Current Whereabouts: Queens
Bio: The Grek is old school CP and has links to every other member. The Grek is known for his love of music, movies, parties, Texas Hold Em' and women. Keith is called the Grek due to his Greek Heritage. Keith is always looking for the next "happening" or party and will go to great lengths to be where the action is. This trait earned him the Dirty Prefix to his many aliases.

Bio: Joey was a late addition to the CP, but he soon became one of its proudest and beloved members. Joey enjoys fighting and will stand up for his friend at all costs. His love for blood, was demonstrated as soon as he moved to Seaford from Queens. Joe pummeled V Forgione for looking at him sideways. This incident earned Joe the title of The Flushing Fighter.

Bio: MD is one of the most popular and spoken about CP members. MD is famous for the countless parties he hosted at his apartment over the years. Morgan's crazy antics and funny sayings are too numerous to recount in this short bio. MD's current whereabouts are unknown, he was last seen at the CP BBQ 2years ago.

Bio: Miller has been around since the inception of the CP and is closely linked to Cork and the Grek. Mike is known for his dirty sense of humor and Odd behavior. His off color remarks and rank outs are indeed hilarious and make him who he is. Miller has lived in Florida for many years but just recently relocated to the Island.

Bio: Murph was the self appointed guardian and defender of the CP. He was a man of great strength and courage. He was a loyal friend to all and would always fight for what he thought was right. Murph was one of the most charismatic and funniest people I have ever met. Michael Murphy is always in our thoughts and is sorely missed. He is gone but not forgotten. He is a true Legend.

Bio: Musc is a true piece of work. He is the life of any party but if left unchecked can easily become unmanageable. But these are the times where he shines, so it is best that you let him do as he pleases. He is hilarious and can provide hours of entertainment.

Bio: Pud is into working out, making money, Internet dating, star gazing and playing cards. He is currently doing very well with his Physical therapy practice on the Island and has purchased a number of houses. Pud is usually found hanging out with ray, or corky and is a regular at the 3 seasons room.

Bio: Ray has some old Cool World connections, but has become core CP despite that fact. Not much is known about Yar, due to the fact that he doesn't say much. All that has been confirmed is that he loves the Rolling Stones, and lives on Washington Avenue.

Bio: Rich is one of the most beloved members of the CP. Rich is known for his funny lines, his misadventures, and his outlandish views. There are thousands of Corky stories floating around and everyone has their favorites. I hope to include some on this site, but that will be up to Rich. Party on Cork in the 3 Seasons Room.

Bio: Sean was a late addition to the CP, and came to us through the Grek. He is known for playing the drums, long hair, and not lending out his Nintendo Cartridges. Sean moved to the West coast along with the Grek a few years back and hasn't been heard from since.

Bio: Tommy went to school in Seaford up through Junior High, but then left for a more cultured education in Catholic High School. Tommy remained CP despite many changes in residence over the years. Tom is known for his crazy lines, wacked out or made up stories, and a love for things with alcohol in them. He is an asset to any party and can easily control a room as well or better then Musc with this Antics. Writer of great songs like, "Theres a Dog in the Street" and "If I had a box full of Chickens"
